Fashion, Roanoke Valley

July 29, 2016

We have a really pretty vineyard that is right in the city, but on top of a mountain with a gorgeous view of the valley below.  We stopped by the other day on our way to dinner for a quick glass of wine and a peak at the view.

We let the kids out of the stroller for a few minutes, which turned out to be a big mistake.  The patio and tasting room are literally perched on top of the mountain and there is a steep decline with a huge hill going down the mountain. The kids got way too close to the edge and almost gave me heart failure as we ran to stop them and almost tumbled down ourselves. Erick was dancing on the edge with his arms out trying to catch his balance.  These two are little whirling dervishes and it’s so hard to be able to have them loose in public and keep our sanity and keep them safe. 1:1 adult to child you’d think would be a good ratio, but not really sometimes.  🙂

Anyway, we put them back in the stroller and tried to enjoy a minute of peace before leaving.

I wore one of my favorite dresses that I got before a trip to Mexico last year. This dress is so beautiful in person and with such great details, like the cut out in the back. It’s great to have a dress like this in your closet.
