For the second year in a row, we went up to Haymarket, Virginia for the annual tulip festival. There is nothing prettier than fields of flowers as far as you can see in my opinion.
We went to visit and enjoy ourselves in the afternoon and then returned at sunset with our photographer friend, Carissa, for a little family photo shoot.
If you have never been here before, it’s well worth it and you can pick your own tulips. But, beware, whatever your little people pick, you will pay for — even if it’s a dying tulip or they pick it without the stem. Ask me how I know. Actually, they are pretty gracious with kids.
I am not sharing most of our family pictures, but here are a couple.
