I finally redecorated my office and am trying to finish it up now. I am so happy with the results. I spend a lot of time in this room, so it’s important to me that I like it.
Before, it was bright yellow and I wanted something more sophisticated and calming. I painted it “Sea Salt” from Sherwin Williams.
I still want to get a new chair so my dining room can have it’s 8th chair back. I’m thinking about getting a Parsons chair with a cool fabric. And, I need something for one of the walls, the problem is that I have too many ideas and still can’t decide. It will probably involve photos of the dogs.
Here are some more photos:
I really like pussy willows and think the river rocks are beautiful.
My desk has lots of storage and lots of desk space. And, I got to pick each piece to make the desk, so that was cool. My shredder is hidden away, I have a place for my scanner without it being on the desktop.
I love photography, so I put shelves on one wall with four large prints. I can display my photos and change them out frequently.
I desperately needed some shelving, so I could stop having piles of things on the floor.
I love having a chandelier in my office.
I decided to lay out some of my favorite quotes and print them. I need friendly reminders every now and then. This is my absolute favorite quote and I want to live my life this way.
This one is particularly special to me in light of our battle with infertility. Sometimes I find that courage and sometimes I don’t.
What’s not to love about this lamp?
Ok, prepare yourselves, because here’s the before. I think it’s a huge improvement and it’s much more me.
Now, I have to figure out what to do with the masks from Puerto Rico and Costa Rica. I will probably put them in Erick’s office.
