Waking up in Morocco

September 11, 2012

On our second day in Morocco, I woke up early and eager to get out and explore some more before we had to leave.  But, first we had an amazing breakfast at our hotel.  They served Moroccan pancakes, which were so good and kind of like a thick crepe.  They were served with goat cheese, honey, jam, butter, figs, etc.  And, of course, the coffee was wonderful.

I love these photos. I may have missed it, but where in Morocco is this? Morocco is one of my favorite places in the whole world, but I don’t recall seeing anyplace so blue. It’s really quite stunning.
